Image Resize

This tutorial uses an algorithm to resize with little to no artifacting. If you follow the tutorial you should achieve this without a problem.

1. Open an image that's fairly big but it doesn't have to be very large but the bigger the better. If you start out with a small image then you will be resizing with very little information making it very pixelated so like I said the larger the image the better the results.

2. Goto Window>Actions now click on the folder icon . This will create a new set for you to store actions in. Then click on the create a new action button this will make a new action script for you. Name the folder and the action whatever you want to, it wont make a difference whatever you choose.

3. Now that you have all the action stuff setup click on the record button. From this point on everything you do will be recorded so make sure you do exactly what I say or it could end up becoming setup wrong and could alter your image in a way you wouldn't want.

Goto Image>Image Size once you have done that a pop up will show up. For width click on the right pulldown where it should say pixels, change this to percent and then change the value from 100 to 110.

Also make sure that Constrain Proportions has a check mark next to it. Click OK and then push the stop button on the actions tab. This will stop your recording so that it has just the image resize.

4. Now that you have it recorded you can click on the action and just click play as many times as you want, each time it will increase by 10% making it larger and less pixelated then just making it whatever percentage you want.

Conclusion
